Art on the Table | Collage Workshop with Artist Jenny Brown
Franklin Culture Art Making Workshop + Volunteer Information Sharing
Our first "Art on the Table Event" took place on May 16th, 2024 at Birchwood Bakery + Kitchen. We thank our community members for joining us for an evening of art making, community networking and volunteer cultivation. Below are the details of the May 16th event. Stay tuned for more opportunities to create and volunteer with us!
We're excited to launch our inaugural event and extend our gratitude to our instructor Jenny Brown and our Franklin community partners the Franklin Historical Museum and Birchwood Bakery + Kitchen.
About the Art-Making Portion of the Workshop: Discover the art of storytelling through collage at our upcoming workshop! With historical images graciously provided by our community partner, The Franklin Historical Museum, and captivating imagery shared by artist and workshop instructor, Jenny Brown, you'll have the opportunity to craft unique pieces of artistic history. We also suggest bringing some of your own person ephemera as well.
Art making supplies will be provided. If you're feeling hungry, we kindly encourage you to support our evening's host by considering purchasing a snack/beverage onsite. So come ready to have fun and make some art. No prior experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and an open mind!
Registration Logistics (now closed, text from previous timeline): Registration is free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is one-per person. Once capacity is reached, we cannot accommodate additional participants. If you miss out on this workshop, we encourage you to join us for the next one! Registration for the event is for the art-making elements only. Sign up is just for the listed date/time of workshop. Click here for registration!
